Now he is burning the candle at both ends trying to improve his financial situation.
Madchild is impressed of how much money he has wasted on drugs. Having earned $3.5 by himself, a hip hop artist understands how difficult it can be to start from scratch. Madchild started saving money when he was an independent, underground rapper. After losing almost $4 million to drugs, he feels blessed that God saved his life. Madchild says, “Thank God I’m back and I’m living life and I don’t have to go and move boxes for a living. It feels great because I’m rebuilding my life super-duper fast again. So, all of a sudden I’ve got my dream truck again. I’ve got a dope apartment in West Hollywood.”
One of the biggest rapper’s achievements is that he hasn’t used opioids for 4 years. Madchild confesses that he hasn’t been exactly sober. While being in tours, he allows himself to drink twice a month or stay completely sober. Madchild explains, “I have like 80 shows. The rule of this tour is that you can drink twice a month, the crew. Otherwise, you gotta stay sober. It’s just as simple as that because if everybody else around me is partying, it’s gonna make me wanna party. It’s just gonna be better for everybody. We’re gonna remember everything.” Madchild believes that sober people will make this tour better and more functioning. It will be easier to get everything done in time. Madchild is sure that it’s possible to have a blast in their tour without getting drunk.
